John Huizinga

Pitching Director
Player Development Coach

Jon “Zinger” Huizinga is a nationally respected pitching coach known for developing arms from youth levels to MLB All-Stars with a blend of biomechanical detail, mindset training, and simple, repeatable on-mound solutions. A former professional right-hander who signed with the Milwaukee Brewers in 2014 after years in independent ball, Huizinga brings a hard-earned player’s perspective to every bullpen and progression.

As the founder of Fuel Factory Pitching in the Phoenix area, Zinger has built a training ecosystem that pairs individualized throwing programs with video analysis, breathwork, and competitive intent—an approach he shares widely through his clinics, online education, and the Fuel Chucker Club community.

Zinger’s impact is evident at the game’s highest levels: big-league arms have publicly credited him for off-season preparation and competitive readiness. (2025 AL Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal name-checked “Zinger (Jon Huizinga)” while thanking his performance team.)
